5 Ways to Become Consistent and Fall in Love with Your Results

“Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements gained slowly over time.” John C. Maxwell

How often do you see successful people, especially those you respect and think about their extraordinary achievements? You look at them and see their power, their undeniable success and maybe you wish to be like them. As corny as it sounds, you can have anything you truly want if you are willing to put enough work in it and stay consistent no matter how many punches you get.

We should all stop thinking or trying to find “the catch” of success. There isn’t catch, and there isn’t a secret. Consistency is the key and being consistent means working towards your goals each and every day, not when you feel like to.

Here are 5 ways why becoming consistent will bring you results which truly count, results you want to have.

1. Priorities

You must make up your mind and decide what truly matters to you. Is drinking beers with your buddies more important that going to sleep early, waking up at 5 a.m. and work towards your goals? Time is the only limit you have. Use it wisely and spend it doing things which will count in a long run.

2. Make your dreams clear

What exactly do you want? How much money precisely you want to make? How your dream home is going to look like? Those are all important questions you should ask to yourself because vision is a great motivator. You are not a robot. Once in a while, you’ll get defeated by temporary failure, and this can throw you off guard. Hardships are part of every success, so if you want to stay consistent, you should have some picture, some vision in your mind which will push you forward during the time of crisis.

3. Daily plan

To save yourself time in the morning by trying to figure out where to start and what to do, recap what needs to be done a day before. Whether you write it down or memorize it, I leave it up to you. The Important thing is to set up your alarm for a certain hour, and have your plan ready with breaks in between. As I mentioned earlier, time is the only limit you have since your potential is unlimited.

4. Don’t stop

The magic of consistency gives you what you want because you don’t quit. Sometimes it takes a while to see even a small result in your work but don’t be discourage. Did you know that the founder of KFC knock on 1009 doors until someone said yes and KFC became one of the biggest fast food restaurants chain? I encourage you to go and study biographies of those you admire, explore their journey. It will teach you and inspire you.

5. Be proud of yourself

The true is that majority of people can’t stay consistent. If you find yourself doing things which need to be done, being tired and still working towards your goals, canceling fun parties because you want to spend time learning or building your future, reward yourself and feel proud of who you are because this is a sign of consistency.

People often give up and quit because they don’t see immediate results. A great life doesn’t come fast, and that’s why consistency is crucial. Being persistent means sacrifice and hard work. No secrets, no guessing. Just a pure hard, serious work with real results which will warm up your heart and increase confidence in yourself. This life is all you’ve gotten for now. So, what do you want to do about it?
